What's the best way to represent a bunch of different ages in Microsoft Excel?
I'm having one of those "uhhh" moments. I have about 5 different ages of adults. What's the best way to represent them graphically?
I need some sort of breakdown to visually show the ages.
ages are 24, 26, 18, 17
That's it. Bar chart, Histogram? How do I create one. I don't know if this is a variable, the adults are from the same house.
I just need the breakdown of ages in a graphical form. How would I go about doing that in Excel 2008.
Sounds like a Bar Graph. Most likely you'd have to set up a table like
Andrew 24
Jill 26
Doug 18
Bobby 17
...with the numbers in a separate column of course, then highlight the table and activate the Chart command, and take it from there. This would result in a bar graph with each bar labelled beneath with the names listed. If this is supposed to be anonymous, you could replace the names with the same numbers, or you can probably remove the X-axis label, or you could replace the names with "Subject 1", "Subject 2", etc.
